Canberran to raise money for Headspace on Adventure All Stars
About This Project
Amelia Bidgood is no stranger to adventure. She’s gone skydiving, whitewater rafting and bungee jumping, and in a time before coronavirus, enjoyed travelling.
But her next adventure is set to be unlike any other she’s taken before.
The managing director of online food and beverage guide Eat Canberra is set to be on Adventure All Stars, a travel-inspired television series, with every episode featuring Australian cast members undertaking an unforgettable journey to a secret location for six days of fun and adventure.
The difference between this show and say an Amazing Race-type show is that it’s created by production company Charity TV Global and each contestant is required to raise at least $10,000 for a charity of their choice before filming.
In the case of Bidgood, her goal is to raise at least $10,000 for Headspace.
“I like to do what I can to help others and raise awareness about different causes that I’m passionate about and mental health is one of them,” she says.
